La Scuola International School
Founded in 2002 in San Francisco California, La Scuola International School uniquely blends the best approaches in education, guiding students to become leaders of their own learning.
WE ARE:
- One of the very few schools in the world to apply the Reggio Emilia Approach all the way through middle school;
- An authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Middle Years Program school in the United States. La Scuola International School, Milano has applied for Primary Years Program candidacy and will apply for Middle Years Program candidacy in the Summer 2027;
- An English language immersion school.
Students don’t need to speak English to enroll.
La Scuola accepts learners at all language levels and will differentiate instruction to ensure a smooth integration into the school.

Optional after-school care is available until 18:00 for all students for an additional fee. Wednesday morning care is available from 8:30 to 9:10.

Recognized as a Scuola Paritaria
La Scuola International School’s preschool (Scuola dell’Infanzia) and primary school (Scuola Primaria) are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito) as an Accredited School with Equal Standing (Scuola Paritaria), meaning it adheres to Italy’s national curriculum guidelines (Indicazioni Nazionali).
