Founded in 2002 in San Francisco California, La Scuola International School uniquely blends the best approaches in education, guiding students to become leaders of their own learning.
WE ARE:
- One of the very few schools in the world to apply the Reggio Emilia Approach all the way through middle school;
- Authorized as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years and Middle Years Program school in the United States, with our Milano campus a current applicant for candidacy;
- An English language immersion school.
Students don’t need to speak English to enroll.
La Scuola accepts learners at all language levels and will differentiate instruction to ensure a smooth integration into the school.

Optional after-school care is available until 18:00 for all students for an additional fee. Wednesday morning care is available from 8:30 to 9:10.

Recognized as a Scuola Paritaria
La Scuola International School’s preschool (Scuola dell’Infanzia) and primary school (Scuola Primaria) are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito) as an Accredited School with Equal Standing (Scuola Paritaria), meaning they adhere to Italy’s national curriculum guidelines (Indicazioni Nazionali).
